An individual of Australian nationality who vaulted past a barrier and touched Hollywood star Ariana Grande has been expelled and prohibited from Singapore.

The individual, twenty-six, was handed a penalty to more than a week in jail for being a public nuisance and has now been "barred from re-entering Singapore," Singaporean immigration authorities informed news outlets.

The man shoved beyond security and rushed toward the celebrity, who was attending the regional launch for the musical adaptation on November 13. Co-star Cynthia Erivo wrestled him away from Grande.

He has a background of disrupting concerts and high-profile gatherings, including rushing the stage at Katy Perry's Sydney concert in this summer.

The occurrence caused anger in Singapore, with numerous people claiming he of triggering past trauma for the singer.

The singer has spoken of suffering from PTSD after a explosive incident at her concert in the English city in spring of 2017 resulted in the deaths of 22 people and affected hundreds.

In the legal process, the authorities learned he had made efforts to breach on the film's premiere multiple times, according to regional reports.

"I'm sure he didn't intend us harm, but you can't predict with such situations, and I aimed to make sure that she was fine. That was my immediate response," she stated.
